There isn’t always a ton to do in rural communities so part of community care means organizing events for your immediate community. After canceling it in 2023 because of the fires I was so grateful to run “til death do us part”, a 20 person murder mystery event held in my backyard. With a mix of born and raised locals and newer additions to the community we all brought some sort of snack and played, painted, and schemed or almost 6 hours. I’m so grateful to everyone who showed up and participated and even more excited to plan my next one.
